Aim: Colors may have fundamental effects by different ways on our life and each color is a main source of energy based on its chemical and psychological character. The aim of this study was to investigate psychological effect of personnels’ uniform of a public library on their job performance and job engagement.
Methods: This study was an applied study based on quasi experimental and is associated with pretest, protest, control group and examination. Statistical sample of this study was comprised of Esfahan administration public library staff that total of 30 people were selected for accessible sampling. The sample was randomly selected and assigned into two exam groups such test group (N=15) and control group (N=15). Research tools was consisted of two guestionnaires including Paterson job performance and Utrecht job engagement.
Results: The findings was analyted bye SPSS/PC version 19. Findings have shown that staffs uniform changing color has impact on their job engagement and that impact percentages are 0.37%, but it has no relationship with their job performance.
Conclusion: Therefore it can be suggested that personnel uniform changing color can has positive effect on their job engagement.
