Aim: Personal factors such as beliefs, attitudes, environmental events, and individual behaviors interact with each other. Due to the great importance of this influence, the purpose of the present study was to examine the impact of handling family dispute cases on the lived experience and attitude towards life of family court employees.
Method: The research paradigm is interpretive and the research approach is qualitative, phenomenological.The current research population included judges working in the judiciary of Tehran, Arak, Khorramabad, and Khomein County in 1403. The individuals selected were those who had experience working in family courts and handling family cases.The sampling method was purposeful. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect research data.Sampling reached saturation with 6 interviewees from the judges of Agha. The data were analyzed through thematic analysis, and finally a model for attitude change was presented using Max Quda software.
Result: The results of the interviews identified 3 overarching themes and 12 organizing themes. The overarching themes obtained were: the impact of career experiences on attitudes and approaches in personal life, changes in values and attitudes towards marriage and family relationships, pessimism and a cautious approach in social relationships.
Ccoclusion: Therefore, handling family dispute cases has had both positive and negative effects on the attitudes of judges working in this field.
