Objective: The present study aimed to investigate the factor structure, validity, and reliability of the Persian version of the Vocational Identity Questionnaire among students at Shahrekord University. Method: This research employed a descriptive correlational design, categorized as a psychometric validation study. The statistical population comprised students from Shahrekord University in the year 1404 (Iranian calendar). A convenience sampling method was used, selecting 500 students (320 female, 180 male) from various academic levels. The research instruments included the Vocational Identity Measure (VIM) for factor structure analysis and two scales, the Career Adaptabilities Scale (CAAS) and the Employability Index (EI), for construct validity assessment. Data were randomly divided into two groups for exploratory factor analysis (n=250) and confirmatory factor analysis (n=250). Findings: Exploratory factor analysis, using the Principal Component Analysis method with Varimax rotation and after removing two items with factor loadings below 0.4, extracted a single factor with an eigenvalue of 12.5, explaining 63.54% of the total variance. Subsequently, confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the fit of the single-factor structure (TLI=0.95; CFI=0.96; RMSEA=0.058). Convergent validity was supported through the correlation of vocational identity with career adaptability and employability at a significance level of p < 0.01. The reliability of the instrument was also confirmed using Cronbach’s alpha, Omega coefficient, and split-half reliability, ranging from 0.87 to 0.92. Conclusion: The findings indicate that the Vocational Identity Questionnaire possesses an appropriate factor structure,
