Aim: Organizational marginalization endangers the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization by damaging human relations and social bonds in the organizational environment. Based on this, the current research seeks to identify the causes and consequences of marginalization in government organizations.
Methodology: In terms of the type of data, the current research is mixed and based on qualitative and quantitative research, which in terms of research philosophy is included in the category of inductive comparative research. In terms of purpose, it is practical and in terms of gathering information, it is exploratory. The statistical population of the present study is the managers and employees of the government organizations of Lorestan province, which was conducted using the purposeful sampling method and numbered 27 people. The sample size was determined using the principle of theoretical saturation. The tool for collecting information in the qualitative part of the interview and in the quantitative part is a questionnaire, whose validity and reliability were respectively determined using content validity and theoretical validity, intra-coder and extra-coder reliability methods for interviews, and content validity and re-test reliability for distributed questionnaires. , has been confirmed. Qualitative data were analyzed with "Atlas T" software and content analysis method, and quantitative data were analyzed with fuzzy cognitive mapping method.
Result: The findings of this research indicate that the most important causes of employee marginalization in government organizations are exploitative leaders and authoritarian managers, political work and political deviations and gender-based inequalities.
