Abstract

Aim: The aim of the present research is to conduct a feasibility study on designing an online communication network to improve the quality of school management.

Method: This research is categorized as applied and developmental regarding its objectives, and the data collection method employed was a mixed-method approach. In this context, the qualitative participants included faculty members from educational sciences at public universities and secondary school principals. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 10 individuals who were purposefully selected, and in the quantitative section of the research, a 28-item questionnaire was designed based on the themes extracted from the interviews and the research objectives. This questionnaire was distributed among 116 principals who were selected using a stratified random sampling method.

Findings and Conclusion: The results indicate that secondary school principals recognize the importance and necessity of professional development networks with an average score of 3.83 and consider the proposed human resources (average 4.33), technical (4.33), financial (4.11), and legal (4.27) resources to be necessary, with averages higher than the overall community average (3). However, they also regard challenges and obstacles, particularly organizational and bureaucratic barriers, as influential.
