Abstract

Abstract

Aim: The present study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of Islamic lifestyle model training in improving self-worth and life satisfaction among employed women at Mobarakeh Steel Company in Isfahan.

Methods: This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest–posttest control group. The statistical population comprised all employed women at Mobarakeh Steel Company in 2024. A total of 30 participants were selected through convenience sampling and randomly assigned to an experimental group (n= 15) and a control group (n= 15). The experimental group participated in eight weekly 120-minute sessions based on the Islamic lifestyle model training program, while the control group received no intervention. Data were collected using the Self-Worth Questionnaire developed by Doosti and Hosseini-Nia (2020) and the Satisfaction with Life Scale developed by Diener et al. (1985). Data analysis was conducted using SPSS-21 software and multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA).

Results: The findings of the multivariate analysis of covariance indicated that Islamic lifestyle model training led to a statistically significant increase in self-worth and life satisfaction among employed women in the experimental group compared to the control group (p < 0.05).

Conclusion: Based on the findings, Islamic lifestyle model training appears to be an effective intervention for enhancing self-worth and life satisfaction among employed women at Mobarakeh Steel Company.
