Effectiveness of the Positive Intelligence training on spiritual function and psychological well-being of the Securities and Exchange Organization

Abstract
The main aim of this study was to examine the effectiveness of a positive intelligence training on the Spiritual Functioning and Psychological Well-being of the employees of Securities and Exchange Organization in Iran. In a randomized controlled trial design with a pre-test post-test paradigm among all employees of the Securities and Exchange Organization in Tehran 30 employee were selected and randomly divided into two equal experimental and control groups(n=15).Two groups members were asked to fill the Daily Spiritual Experience Scale (DSES) and Reef’s Psychological Well-being Questionnaire(RPWQ). Participants in the experimental group received 6 sessions of 120 minutes group training of positive intelligence, while control group just received simple meeting with therapist and registered in the waiting list of future training for ethical reasons. After the interventions participants of both groups were completed DSES and RPWQ again. A MANCOVA statistical analysis were shown significant difference between two groups in DSES and RPWB mean scores after the Positive intelligence treatment. It could be concluded that the positive intelligence training program could successfully improve the spiritual functioning and psychological well-being of employees of the Securities and Exchange Organization and is then useful for employees of this organization.
