Purpose: This study aimed to investigate female college students' job search behavior based on the effect of self-efficacy, career maturity, and the profile of the career decision-making dimension as a mediator. Method: In this study, purposive and correlational structural equation modeling was used to collect data. The statistical population of this study includes all female students of Allameh Tabatabaei College, of which 200 individuals were selected as the sample through simple random sampling. Sherer's General Self-Efficacy Scale, Super's Career Maturity Inventory (1988), Gatti's Career Decision-Making Difficulties Questionnaire (1996), and Salehi and Abedi's Job Search Behavior Questionnaire (2005) were used. Data were analyzed using SPSS-22 and AMOS -22 software. Results: The results showed that the relationship between self-efficacy and job search behavior was the same (t = 6.75 and β = 0.52). The relationship between job decision making and job search behavior was similar (t = 2.22 and β = 0.18). Conclusion: The results suggest that self-efficacy directly affected job search behavior, but self-efficacy across the profile of career decision-making dimensions did not indirectly affect job search behavior. Vocational choices had a direct effect on job search behavior. Occupational maturity had no direct or indirect impact on job search behavior via the profile of decision-making dimensions.
