This paper aims to investigate the role of personality types in conflict management behaviors in workplace. Statistical population consisted of employees working at the Tehran FoomanShimi central office that 97 employees of them were selected randomly as research sample. Data was collected via Rahim conflict management styles and word cluster assessment questionnaires and was analyzed using inferential statistical techniques specially χ2 test which confirmed all of the the study hypotheses. The results showed that there is a relationship between employees` personality types determined by the True Colors Model and the two relationship-oriented and task-oriented dimensions of conflict management, each of which consists of two conflict management styles. Findings show that emphasizing on appointment of employees according to their personality characteristics in addition to improving individual performance can also reduce the negative outcomes of interpersonal conflict. Also, employees` training programs for encountering conflicts situations can be based on their personality types.
