Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between boundaryless career with employability and the mediating role of career competencies. It was a correlational study. The statistical population of the study included all employees of industrial-production companies in Isfahan. From the population, 192 employees were selected through convenience sampling. Boundaryless Career Attitudes, Dispositional Measure of Employability, Self-information, Breadth of Internal and External Networks and Career-job-related Skills Scale were applied in order to collect data. The results showed that knowing why competency was a partial mediation in the relation of boundaryless mindset with employability but didn't have mediating role in the relation of organization mobility preference and employability. Knowing whom competency was a partial mediation in the relation of boundaryless mindset and organization mobility preference with employability. Knowing how competency was a partial mediation in the relation of boundaryless mindset with employability and full mediation in the relations of organization mobility preference with employability. In general, the results showed that career competencies are mediation in the relation of boundaryless career with employability
